How To Prepare To Wear A Corset

Friday, October 10th, 2008

Women have worn shapewear for hundreds of years now and there are lots of different types of corset. These can range from underbust corsets and vintage corsets to a newer leather corset or waist cinchers.

The term tight lacing refers to adorning tightly laced corsets for a dramatic effect. The process is also known as corset training and waist training and people can experience different sensations from wearing a tight corset.

When wearing a tight laced corset you should wear cotton clothing under it. Any sort of cotton clothing that covers the corset area could be used but you can also get corset liners that will be perfect for you. It is important to remember not to tighten the corset too quickly when putting it on. Pull it close so you can pull the cotton under lining through, as this will protect you from being pinched by the corsets. It is important to moisturise all over before putting on your underbust corset. Cover your entire upper body in moisturiser so there are no dry areas. Following these simple tips will make your life a lot easier.
